David A. Agard will give 2015 Frederic M. Richards Lecture on Monday, February 2

MB&B announces the 2015 Richards Lecturer, David A. Agard, from the University of California, San Francisco, on Monday, February 2nd at 4:00 pm in 202 OML.  His seminar is entitled “The Structure and Mechanism of the Hsp90 Molecular Chaperone: New Insights into the Yin and Yang of Client Activation”.  All are welcome to attend the seminar.

The annual Frederic M. Richards Lecture in Structural Biology is given by a leader in the general subject area that has been Fred’s main scientific concern.  Not only will it honor Fred, it will be a continuing intellectual enrichment for the faculty and students of the Department.  The Richards Lecturer receives a Galileo thermometer.
