Karla Neugebauer won the Mid-Career Award from the RNA Society

The RNA Society is pleased to announce that Karla Neugebauer has been selected for the RNA Society’s Mid-Career Award. Neugebauer is a Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She was nominated for innovative impact on the linkage between splicing and transcription, and the biogenesis of snRNPs. She has been a member of the RNA Society since 2004 and served as the co-chair of the RNA Society Junior Scientist Committee, a member of the Board of Directors, and chaired plenary sessions at the RNA Society annual meetings.
