MB&B Seminar: Dr. Carrie Partch “Morning larks and night owls shed light on human circadian timekeeping”

Event time:
Monday, September 19, 2022 - 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Location:
Online () See map
Event description:

Our lives are intimately linked to Earth’s 24-hour solar cycle via circadian clocks that coordinate physiology and behavior into rhythms that coincide with the day/night cycle. Recent insights into the genetic basis of morning lark and night owl behavior have shed light on key steps in the molecular clock that determine the intrinsic timing of circadian rhythms in humans.
