MB&B Seminar: “Nascent Protein Selection and Triage at the ribosome exit site”

Work in the Shan lab aims to understand the molecular mechanisms that generate the organization and fidelity of complex cellular processes. This seminar will focus on the decision making process at early stages of protein biogenesis, where nascent proteins emerging from the ribosome are sampled by multiple protein biogenesis factors and selected into the correct biogenesis pathway.
