Joan A. Steitz, Sterling Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, received the 2016 Jonathan Kraft Prize for Excellence in Cancer Research earlier this month. Massachusetts General’s Cancer Center has awarded the prize since 2006 to celebrate achievements in cancer research. It is endowed by Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, in honor of his son.
