Wendy Gilbert won the Early Career Award from the RNA Society

Dr. Gilbert was an Associate Professor of Biology at MIT in Boston, Massachusetts, and is currently an Associate Professor of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. She was nominated for ‘paradigm-altering’ contributions to the field of post-transcriptional gene regulation. She has been a member of the RNA Society since 2010 and she has served as co-organizer and a session chair at annual RNA Society meetings.
