By Dahyana Arias Escayola: Congratulations to Tony Koleske on being elected to the Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering! Tony was elected in recognition of his pioneering work understanding how growth factor and adhesion receptor signaling controls cell shape and movement and how this is perturbed in psychiatric disorders. The Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering elects members “on the basis of scientific and engineering distinction achieved through significant contributions in theory or applications, as demonstrated by original published books and papers, patents, the pioneering of new and developing fields
