The Christopher Bunick lab recently published in Nucleic Acids Research the cryo-EM structure of the Cutibacterium acnes ribosome, an important target for antibiotic treatment of acne. Dr. Ivan Lomakin was first author on this work highlighted by Medicine@Yale. Their collaborators included Swapnil Devarkar of the Xiong lab in MBB and Shivali Patel of the Pyle lab in MCDB.
