Wendy Gilbert was one of four recipients of the 2022-2023 FAS Dean’s Award for Inclusion and Belonging! Wendy received this award in recognition for her “insight and drive [that] led Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry to transform their approach to confronting bias in the faculty search process, resulting in a tenfold increase in applications from underrepresented groups [and her] efforts to bring DEI topics to the fore at prominent conferences in the field”. Wendy is recognized as a leader who “brings extensive knowledge and out-of-the-box thinking to the problem of how to create an inclusive environment for scientists.” Congratulations, Wendy!
