Congratulations to Mason McCool, a MD/PhD student in the Baserga Lab who is the 2020 recipient of the NIH National Research Service Award (NRSA) Fellowship. The award was developed to enhance the integrated research and clinical training of a promising predoctoral student who is matriculated in a combined MD/PhD or other dual-doctoral degree training program (e.g. DO/PhD, DDS/PhD, AuD/PhD, DVM/PhD), and who intends to pursue a career as a physician-scientist or other clinician-scientist.
